I joined Visual Compass, a web design agency, in 2014 to help them expand their video services to clients. With designs being leveraged for both web and video platforms, we could deliver more content while providing savings. During this time, I worked on a number of projects across live-action, 3D animation, and motion graphics. I even took home an Emmy in 2015.

YPSI REAL
The Ypsilanti Convention and Visitors Bureau was in the process of rebranding. The Phire Group crafted a new brand that embraced the identity of the city and township. Using this brand statement as a framework, I set off to produce the initial spot. Filming in numerous locations led to a treasure trove of footage. As an Ann Arbor native (a city adjacent to Ypsi), I knew it would take some work do to this story justice. No stranger to the town and a recent transplant, I took the collective voices of residents and business owners to heart to make something amazing.
STRIDEPOST
Parenting can be tough. Stridepost developed an app to help children learn time management and master skills that will follow into adulthood. Custom character design for this project ended up influencing the brand illustrations shortly after. The characters were brought to life through rigging with the ability to swap characters for speed. This animation was created to appeal to the kid in all of us.
